We are a four-piece Rockin', Rhythm & Blues band consisting of Mont Smith/Drums, Vic Eschler/Bass, Ray Franklin/Guitar/Vocals, and Kurtis Crompton/Saxophone. On special occasions, we invite other musicians, such as Bad Brad Wheeler/Harmonica or Richie Kap/Guitar, to perform with us. We cover artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King, B.B. King, Johnny Lang, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Cray, Bill Withers etc. Although a cover band, we add our style and flare to every song. We also have several original songs that we perform as well.
For the past three years, the Standard-Examiner Best of Northern Utah Reader's Choice poll has recognized us as the best blues band in Northern Utah. In 2021, 2022, and 2023, we performed for Excellence in the Community for Black History Month, hosted by Jeff Whitely. We have also performed at the Egyptian Theater in Ogden and the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City for the Juneteenth 2024 celebration.
