Tyler Gould was surrounded by music from a young age and always dreamed of singing like his talented mother and sisters. At the age of 15, he taught himself to play the guitar and discovered a passion for singing and songwriting. Tyler's first big break came when he placed third in a battle of the bands contest judged by The Neon Trees, which gave him the confidence to audition for American Idol despite still being a beginner. After some ups and downs, Tyler got back into performing in 2011 and continued to refine his skills, playing at local venues and even busking in Hawaii. He was eventually discovered by the owner of a record shop, who helped him open for country legends Billy Dean and Jamie O'Neal. Tyler recorded a 3-track EP with Jamie and her producer, and has since continued to perform with a full band. 15 years into his music journey, Tyler continues to sing, write, and play the guitar, as well as occasionally drumming and playing the piano.
