Every Monday, our stage becomes a playground for local musicians and music lovers. Whether you sing, play, or simply enjoy a good jam, you’re welcome here.

Sign-ups and music begin at 9 PM.

We provide the drum kit, guitar amp, and bass amp. Bring your own instrument and anything else you need to play.

How the Jam Works

This is a jam, not a showcase. Sign up as an individual—no bands or pre-arranged groups. We’ll mix players so you can meet and play with somebody new.
All skill levels are welcome. Players should be comfortable following common songs and basic chord changes.
Be ready when your name is called. Have your instrument tuned and your gear ready so we can keep the music moving.
Choose accessible songs. Blues, familiar standards, and well-known classic-rock songs help everyone participate. Before starting, agree on the song, key, arrangement, and ending.
Keep it moving. Each group plays two or three songs, depending on attendance, and then rotates out so everyone gets a turn.
Listen and leave space. Share solos, support the singer, and keep the stage volume under control. If you can’t hear the vocals or the other players, turn down.
Respect the people, equipment, and venue. Treat the supplied gear with care. The drum kit stays as set up—don’t change heads, cymbals, stands, or other hardware.
The host has the final say on sign-ups, running order, group makeup, song count, equipment, and volume.

Secluded amongst pine trees at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon, The Hog Wallow Pub is located kitty-corner to the historic Old Mill ruin. It is the latest reincarnation of the oldest and most notorious bar in the Cottonwood Heights area. Established in 1947 by a returning World War II veteran who converted an abandoned Civilian Conservation Corps bunkhouse into an out-of-the-way watering hole he named "The Branding…
