Chris Baron is blazing trails west of the Rockies—and deep into Texas. His star began to rise after he won the performance competition at the 2022 Tucson Folk Festival, followed by a feature spot at Folk Alliance International in early 2023. With a sound that blends psychedelic folk vibes and big-band Cat Stevens energy, Chris doesn’t just play music—he pulls you in, shakes your soul, and leaves your worries in the dust.
His 2024 album showcases a track penned by a Texan, a guest performance by world-renowned L.A. fiddler Gabe Witcher, and lush arrangements from his orchestral string trio. For 2025, he’s hitting the road full-time with cellist Debbie Stewart, bringing his unique sonic experience to stages far and wide.
