The Columbia Jones One Man Band is not some gimmick staged for laughs and 2 minutes of fun. He has been perfecting this performance since 2016 at hundreds of shows in 15 different states. Originally a drummer trained in jazz and four-limb coordination, Columbia found these movements translated easily to a one-man band setup. After a few years of vocal and guitar lessons, his solo performance is unlike any other solo performer. Switching between electric guitar, acoustic guitar, or resonator, Columbia thumps a bass drum and tambourine and utilizes subtle live-looping to deliver a unique sonic canvas.
Columbia Jones mixes deeply emotional lyrics with blues, folk, and a little rock and roll. But expressing himself doesn't stop with original music. He loves to perform covers, especially when he puts his own spin on them.
