Sarah DeGraw is a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and storyteller whose sound lives at the crossroads of rock & roll grit, Americana soul, blues, and groove-driven roots music. With a voice that can command a festival stage or pull a room into an intimate moment, Sarah delivers performances that feel deeply personal, fiercely authentic, and unmistakably alive.
Music has been part of Sarah’s life from the very beginning. She started singing at just five years old and was performing and traveling by the age of eight—an early start that cultivated a lifelong connection to the stage and a deep-rooted passion for live performance. Drawing from classic rock, blues, country, and American hymnal traditions, she brings those timeless influences into a sound that is both rooted and refreshingly her own.
At the heart of Sarah’s current live sound is a tight-knit band built through years of shared musical experience. Aidan Triantafillou, her lead guitarist, has been performing alongside Sarah for the past six years, developing a musical chemistry that has become a defining part of her sound. His expressive, instinctive playing brings both fire and nuance to the band’s performances. Sam Short on drums and Simon Quinn on bass round out the rhythm section, creating a powerful, locked-in foundation that gives Sarah’s vocals and songs room to move—from driving rock & roll grooves to stripped-down, soulful moments.
Together, the band brings an energy that is both raw and refined. Their performances move effortlessly between big, anthemic arrangements and intimate, emotionally charged passages, always anchored by Sarah’s commanding vocals and magnetic stage presence. The result is a live experience built on groove, connection, and the kind of chemistry that can only come from musicians who genuinely listen to one another.
A seasoned live performer, Sarah DeGraw has shared the stage with an impressive range of acclaimed artists, including The Stray Cats, Kenny Loggins, Robert Randolph, Jackie Greene, Paul Cauthen, The Buffalo Gospel, Theo Lawrence, Sister Sparrow, Michael Glabicki, Shemekia Copeland, Ana Popovic, Rick Estrin, and L.A. Witch. These experiences have helped shape her dynamic relationship with audiences and further established her as a compelling presence within the roots and Americana music world.
Whether performing with her full band, in a stripped-down configuration, or on her own, Sarah DeGraw continues to carve out her own lane with music that tells the truth, hits hard, and grooves deep.
